CARLY BOOTH

CONGRATULATIONS to Carly Booth who has won the Czech Ladies Open on the European Ladies Tour.  Carly is an Honorary Member of Comrie GC, following her stunning amateur career which included the Curtis Cup.  Carly is having a great year, having finished ninth in the Scottish Ladies Open earlier in the summer.  Well done Carly and we'll be watching for further success this season and in the future.

BELL TROPHY HEROES

The Comrie team for the Bell Trophy of Burberry, Green, Arnott, Logan and Wilson excelled by winning their semifinal against Aberfeldy.  The match ended all-square with two wins, two losses and a half, and Robin "Iceman" Arnott shouldered the huge responsibility of a sudden-death playoff and won at the first extra hole.  The final will be played in September - watch this space!!

MIXED CLUBS

Three new sets of junior golf clubs are now available at the Clubhouse for use at no cost by any junior visitors, or by junior guests of members; they have been provided by GolfPerthshire. The sets are of different sizes so all juniors should find something suitable.
